We are delighted to inform you of the Inter house swimming display event that took place on 24th January at the Primary Campus swimming pool, with a large turnout of enthusiastic participants and supportive teachers. The event was a fantastic demonstration of the students’ swimming skills, teamwork, and dedication.
Students from Year 1, 2 and the IED Department showcased their swimming abilities, participating in a range of events including freestyle and backstroke events with an aid and freestyle, backstroke events without an aid.
The atmosphere was electric, with cheers and applause from teachers, and fellow students motivating the swimmers to give their best performances. The students displayed exceptional swimming techniques and speed.
The encouragement from the students and teachers played a significant role in boosting the confidence and morale of the swimmers, making the event a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Special thanks to the coaches and teachers for their dedication in training and preparing the students for the display. A big round of applause to all the participants for their hard work and commitment, which was evident in their performances.
As we reflect on the success of this event, we are excited about the upcoming swimming annual inter-house swimming gala for the years 3 to 6 scheduled for Friday 31st January 2025. By participating in these swimming events, we are confident that our students will continue to improve and achieve even greater heights in their swimming journey.
We are excited to share the highlights from Match week 2 of our football fixtures, where our Under 7, Under-11 and Under-9 boys’ and girls’ teams competed against Aga Khan Academy whereby we played host at Oshwal Centre. The matches, held on Monday 20th January for the U7 team, Tuesday 21st January for the U11 teams and Thursday 23rd January for the U9 teams, were filled with energy, determination, and excellent displays of sportsmanship.
Under-11 Boys’ Team: The Under-11 boys played a thrilling match against Aga Khan Academy, showcasing their skills and teamwork. Our team claimed victory with a score of 3-2 for match 1 and a victory for 3-1 for match 2 demonstrating their resilience and commitment.
Under-11 Girls’ Team: The Under-11 girls’ team displayed great zeal and tactical awareness in their match highlighted by them delivering an excellent defensive performance. The match concluded with our team earning a well-deserved win with a score of 1-0 and fought valiantly on their second match buy lost 1-0 and emerged victors on their third match for the finish with a score of 2-0 against Aga Khan.
Under-9 Boys’ Team: The Under-9 boys’ team played with remarkable energy and enthusiasm, making it an exciting match to watch. Our team A achieved showed great effort despite the lose of 1-0 and our team B losing 4-3.
Under-9 Girls’ Team: The Under-9 girls showcased their growing skills and teamwork in a competitive match. The team stood out with their impressive play, particularly in their impressive midfield control. The team played with determination, showcasing proper footballing skills. The team lost 2-0 on the first match and drew 0-0 on their second match.
Under-7 Boys’ Team: Our Under-7 boys’ teams showcased their budding talent and enthusiasm on the field. The matches were filled with energy, determination, and excellent displays of sportsmanship from our youngest players. The boys played an exhilarating match, demonstrating. Our team A secured a hard-fought win with a score of 5-1 despite our team B losing to Aga Khan with a score of 4-0 they showcased their fighting spirit, their growing skills and teamwork.
Under-7 Girls’ Team: The Under-7 girls’ team displayed great enthusiasm and tactical awareness in their match. They delivered an excellent defensive performance and showed impressive skills in attack. The matches concluded with our team fighting valiantly but lost to Aga khan with a final score of 3-0.
Reflecting on these matches, we are excited about the potential and growth of our teams. We look forward to more exciting fixtures and continued development in the weeks ahead.
Our Young Sharks, The School’s swimming team, took part in the KAIS Region 2 Interschool Swimming Gala held at St. Austin Academy on Friday 24th January 2025. The event was a spectacular display of talent, sportsmanship, and teamwork from our students. Students from various schools in Region 2 participated in a range of events, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and relay races. Several students delivered exceptional performances and impressive in their races and showcased outstanding mastery of swimming skills. Many students achieved personal bests, showcasing their dedication and improvement in their swimming abilities.
On Saturday, 25th January 2025, our U11 and U9 girls’ football teams will play host for the PIPSSA interschool football tournament at the primary school play grounds. This event promises to be an exciting day of competition, teamwork, and fun for our young athletes. We wish our girls all the best.
