On Friday 31st January 2025, the Oshwal Academy Primary Campus was awash with excitement as students dove into the waters for the highly anticipated OAN-P Annual Inter-House Swimming Gala. The event brought together young swimmers from the Venus- Red, Neptune-Blue, Mars-Green, and Saturn-Yellow Houses in a spirited competition that showcased not only their aquatic abilities but also their teamwork and sportsmanship.
The gala kicked off with an enthusiastic opening ceremony, where the poolside buzzed with the cheers of teachers, and fellow students. The vibrant house colors painted a picture of unity and healthy rivalry as participants prepared to give their all.
Students competed in a variety of events, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly strokes, as well as exhilarating relay races that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. Different House clinched victory in different events, thanks to seamless coordination and spirited encouragement among team members. Young swimmers from all the grades showed immense potential. In this year’s edition, Yellow (Saturn) House were the Champions with an impressive tally of 708 points. Green (Mars) House took a close second with 702 points, demonstrating consistent performances across events. Third place was taken by Red (Venus) House with 592 points who displayed strong showings in relays and individual events. Fourth position was taken by Blue (Neptune) House with 569 points and were commended for their enthusiasm and team spirit.
It was incredible to see the progress our students have made. Their hard work and dedication to swimming are truly paying off. Events like these not only highlight their athletic skills but also teach valuable life lessons about teamwork and perseverance. Watching the children support each other and celebrate every achievement was heartwarming.
