On Saturday 10th May 2025, our school proudly hosted the PIPSSA U9 Boys and Girls Football Tournament at the primary school playing field, welcoming teams from various institutions for a day of thrilling competition and sportsmanship. The atmosphere was electric as young athletes showcased their skills, determination, and teamwork in pursuit of victory.

Our boys’ and girls’ teams entered the tournament with confidence, displaying exceptional coordination, agility, and strategic play. From the first whistle to the final match, they demonstrated remarkable discipline and passion for the game. Their hard work and dedication paid off as both our girls’ and boys’ teams emerged champions, securing first place in their respective categories.

The matches were filled with exciting moments—spectacular goals, well-executed passes, and outstanding defensive plays. On Tuesday 13th May 2025, our boys’ U11 rugby team proudly stepped onto the field for the first U11 tag rugby fixture of the season, facing off against Premier Academy in an exciting match hosted by Premier School. The game marked the beginning of what promises to be a thrilling rugby season, filled with teamwork, determination, and skill development.

From the opening whistle, our players showcased impressive agility, strategic passing, and unwavering team spirit. The match was a fast-paced contest, with both teams demonstrating excellent coordination and tactical awareness. Throughout the fixture, standout performances were evident, with players executing swift runs, well-timed interceptions, and dynamic teamwork.

Beyond the competition, the fixture served as a valuable learning experience for our team. It reinforced the importance of communication, discipline, and sportsmanship—qualities that will be essential as the season progresses. The boys emerged victorious with a win of 20-2. The match also provided an opportunity for players to refine their skills and build confidence in a competitive setting.

On Tuesday 13th May 2025, our school’s U11 girls also kicked off their netball season with a vibrant display of skill and teamwork in an eagerly anticipated fixture against Premier Academy. Hosted by Premier School on their pristine court, the match was filled with dynamic play, spirited competition, and the true essence of sportsmanship.

The fixture was a fast-paced contest where every player on the team played an integral role. Their coordinated movements and determined efforts set the tone for a season filled with potential and promise. The match witnessed excellent transitions between attack and defense, highlighting the players’ commitment to working together and communicating effectively on the court. The girls emerged victorious with a score of: 8-3 against Premier Academy.

On Wednesday 14th May 2025, our school community gathered to celebrate sportsmanship and passion at the PIPSSA U7 boys and girls football tournament hosted by Regis School Runda. The event provided our budding athletes with the perfect platform to showcase their emerging talents in an atmosphere charged with enthusiasm, collaboration, and a true love for the game.

The tournament was a vibrant testament to the potential of our young players. Both our boys’ and girls’ teams engaged in fast-paced matches that emphasized quick passes, agile dribbles, and impressive footwork. While every goal and save was met with cheers, the real highlight was the way our players supported one another on and off the field. The spirit of teamwork and respect shone through at every turn, reinforcing valuable life lessons about cooperation and resilience.

The hands-on experience allowed our young athletes to explore their potential, learn from each other, and even embrace the occasional stumble as a stepping stone to growth. As we look forward to future tournaments and training sessions, the enthusiasm demonstrated on Wednesday reassures us that our investing in youth sports is a winning strategy for building not only skilled athletes but also resilient, well-rounded individuals. On Thursday 15th May 2025, the U9 boys’ rugby team hosted Premier Academy for an exciting tag rugby fixture, also their first of the season, at Oshwal Center. The match was a thrilling display of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with both teams showcasing their agility and strategic play.

Our boys demonstrated strong defensive coordination and swift attacking moves. The game saw impressive runs, quick passes, and determined tackles, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats. Premier Academy put up a formidable challenge, but our team responded with resilience and tactical precision.

The match was not just about competition—it was a celebration of young talent and the spirit of rugby. Players from both sides showed great camaraderie, respecting the game and each other. The fixture ended with smiles all around, as the boys gained valuable experience and strengthened their passion for the sport. Our boys emerged victorious with a score of 7-5 against Premier Academy.

On Thursday, the U9 girls’ netball team also welcomed Premier Academy for an exciting fixture at Oshwal Center. The match was a fantastic showcase of teamwork, determination, and skill, with both teams displaying impressive coordination and competitive spirit. The U9 netball fixture at Oshwal Center was a fantastic display of sportsmanship, with players from both teams embodying the true spirit of the game. Throughout the match, the girls demonstrated respect for their opponents, acknowledging good plays and maintaining a positive attitude. Our girls team won 4-1 against Premier Academy.

On Saturday 17th May our U11 and U9 tag rugby teams are taking part in the PIPSSA Boys’ tag rugby tournament at Samaj School. On Saturday Our ‘Young sharks’ are hosting other young swimmers for the PIPSSA U9 stroke gala. We wish our teams all the best.
